Blogging impaired!

OK, so call me a dingbat... Call me technologically inept.... Call me lazy... Call me too busy to take time to figure out something new... Call me afraid of change... Whatever.

I'm sticking with my WP for now - sorry. I like it. I know my way around it. It's easy for me. It makes sense to me. I may eventually change over, and I'm keeping this one open for now, still trying to wrap my head around it, I guess (stubborn much?)

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...

It's the holidays, and Yours Truly gets all mushy about Christmas. Yep, I admit it, I am a Christmas loving sap.

And so, this past weekend, out came the boxes, the ribbons and all that fluff. Yep, I started the Christmas decorating! Much to the dismay of the adult male in my household, who spends all of December crying "BAH humbug!" while simultaneously, and surreptitiously, sneaking really great gifts under the tree.

Though I was waiting for the typical childish glee, I was sadly disappointed. My daughter has reached that stage of teenage ennui that can only be penetrated by things so cool as to elicit the non-committal raised eyebrow and soto voce murmurings of "s'alright." As for the son, well, he bounces off the walls anyway, so what else is new?

Two months???

Eeek!

It has been slightly over two months since I created this thing, in the hopes of actually learning my way around it and discover which I like better - this or Wordpress...

Thus far I have had zip, zilch, zero, nada spare time to even attempt to learn a new blogging format so I am still playing the lurky-loo blogging mom over at WP. Sometimes, too many choices are not a good thing!

Between work life and personal life chaos, my online time has been limited - I still maintain a MySpace page because I have a kid over there, and it's the smart thing to do. I still haunt my favorite "mommy site". And I still check in with a few of my favorite bloggers (I'm even discovering new ones, go figure.)

Well, Rome wasn't built in a day, I guess.

Just me...

Truly, I've just discovered this particular blogosphere...
And while I love the variety out there - I frequent blogs from Wordpress (where I maintain my own regular blog), Blogspot and others - what I don't love is the lack of connection between them.
So this, then, is a trial - I'll play with this and see which platform I like best. It's also way to more easily hit up those who maintain their blogs here.
